The Duke of Rutland's Alpine Club WIP

Here is the first four figures completed for the DoR's Alpine club. Now being a good member of the King's inner circle and all and a member of the BUF he has forged links with some Bavarians chappies to help with his cause in ridding the Socialists from Leicester and the East Midlands. The reason for these link is two fold, firstly extra help, weapons and expertise at someone elses expense and secondly as these chaps are catholics it helps in keeping Lord Quenby on his side and shows a willingness to support the Catholic coarse, politics hrmm.

These chaps or rather Burghers are Baron Von Flinkenstinchen and is personnel from Bavaria, which make up the command of the unit. Shortly these will be followed by the units specialists once I have decided how to paint them. I am hoping and aiming for them to be finished by Partizan on 2nd of June, but in truth I bet they won't be finished.

He is the Baron and the rest of the command.

The Last of the Scottish

Here is the last of the Scottish illustrations for the Armies and Enemies of the Scottish Republic for Solway  Here chap is a fella by the name of George Barr Ghillie  who is a leading light in the Scottish British Union of Fascists. He formed the League of Officers when the Republic was formed and he was been fighting there, with various degrees of success ever since. He is dressed rather unfavourable for the  Scottish weather, but is a bit of a health, fitness fanatic and love the feel of shorts. So here is the chap.

Scottish British Union of Fascists

Here is the last sketch of the Royalists for the Armies and Enemies of the Scottish Republic and this chap is a rare member of the British Union of Fascists in Scotland. I have gone for the more civvie look with this chap and envisioned him to be a bank manager type from a rather well heelled family and have tried to capture this. The uniform is an actually copy of a BUF Action Press uniform and   I am looking forward to painting this one. Here is the chap.

New BUF Flags part 2

Here are the new flags for the BUF which are going on sell short at Hastings Solway website or ebay site. I have had a god time doing these and it has fired me up to do more, not BUF flags but others. As you can see I have used the Roman and Fascists symbols and mixed them with some Victorian/Edwardian symbols and Anglo-Saxon ones. I hope you like them.

BUF Flags

Well instead of finishing off the People's Assault Column General I instead went full stream ahead with doing some flags for Si at Solway this time the first sheet of the British Union of Fascists. At the moment I have hit a rare form for these and I should have the second sheet ready in the next couple of days. I have to admit that I am enjoying doing these and still have tons to do for the other factions. Now why did I start this again?
