Day 5 on Orcs in the Webbe Advent Calendar

Today's door swings open on the Advent Calendar to reveal something rather special.

Bob Minadeo, author of AA's Firefight 2.0 ruleset, has put together some rules for using your vast array of Flintloque miniatures with Two Hour Wargames' free Chain Reaction 3 rules. Chain Reaction 3 uses a unique Reaction System in favour of the more traditional IGO-UGO system found in most wargames. This system not only controls your enemy but also gives your troops, especially the less experienced ones, a mind of their own.

Day 4 on Orcs in the Webbe Advent Calendar

From Craig over at Orcs in the Webbe
"One of the great things about running the advent calendar is that I get to ask people to do things I'd love to see. After submitting artwork for the last three years, Pete Barfield has once again created some amazing pictures to take our minds far away to the distant lands of Valon. This year he has turned his talents towards the Windy Isles with illustrations of two characters from the extremely popular Dreadloque setting."

My Other Gaming Passion

Over on Orcs in the Webbe Craig is doing his annual Advent Calender. This is mainly for Black Power Fantasy type games but will worth having a look at. For those not familiar with the Advent Calendar each day from the 1st of December through to the 24th Orcs in the Webbe will be bringing you a gift in the form of a new piece of content. This year we have scenarios, mini-games, interviews and more ! So keep coming back to see what's on offer every day. I find it very entertaining and enjoyable. Here is today's offering.

Advent Calendar 2011 - Day Three
During the ill-fated "Forty-five" Rebellion, Jocccian patriots under Bob "Boy" Mc Groggy sought to secure their country's independencefrom the rule of their Orcish Overlords. Re-enact one of the battles with this classic Flintloque scenario updated with notes for use with 3rd Edition.

Orc Officer

Well having done the Ferach Officer I thought that the next thing to do is an Orc from Albion. He is modelled on a very specific character and I think I have captured him. I cant wait to have him finished.

Ferach Naval Captain

Turning my time over to a different type of project here is the first of three illustrations for Flintloque. This is a black powder fantasy game from Alternative Armies which is based, very loosely on Sharpe and is great fun. Well this elf is a naval officer for the Ferach navy.
