Now I dont usual promote things that I am not really involved in or are not a part of 1938 A Very British Civil War but I thought that might be of interest, especially to my American followers. Yes someone, actually Black Army Productions, who already have some very interesting figures out there, are starting a kickstarter campaign for 1933: A Nation Divided.
A Nation Divided is a Miniatures Sourcebook for recreating a conflict that never was - the Second American Civil War of 1933-1939.
Information includes photographs of historical personalities and vehicles, recreation of historical flags and posters by noted artists Darrin Lauritzen and Patty McPancakes, extensively researched articles regarding important elements of the "Early War Period" (1933-1935) with a particular focus upon the Ohio River Valley Theater, and scenarios based upon the historical engagements therein. While the scenarios are targeted at a skirmish/large skirmish level, they could easily be scaled up or down at the reader's preference, or incorporated, like most of the rest of the materials, in roleplaying campaigns.
For those of you can remember the start of VBCW it happened in the same way with a open ended sourcebook that allowed the players to get involved and make up "their" very own VBCW and it looks like the same is going to happen for this book to. I hope that they get the funding, gosh it hard enough to produce a book on your own these days, and the idea looks an interesting one. So if you want to know more head over to their Kickstarter project for more information and also check out their Facebook too.
Enough of the advert for now.
