And More photos of Painted Things

As the title says here are a couple more photos of some painted figures that I have done. The first one is a banker/civil servant survivor, complete with umbrella and gas mask. This is sculpted but Mark Copplestone from his Future Wars  range he did for Grenadier is the past and is still available from eM-4-Miniatures. Its a lovely figure and something I painted over fifteen years ago. The next one is from Hasslefree and it is a great sculpt by Kev White. Know simply as pants man by my wife and Mad Dog on the Hasslefree website, it is a wonderful sculpt. Full of detail and a joy to paint. He is one of my latest figures I have painted and you can see,hopefully, that my style has somewhat changed over the years. Here there are.

I have been messing around with lightboxes, actually a cheap, clear plastic box, and taking better pictures of my figures. The first lot of photos I did were all yellow, for some reason so I moved the spotlights and put some tissue paper over the light to diffuse the light and it has worked more better. Now I have my little photo studio set up, the plastic box I mention before, I have to work out how to use my blooming camera. Here are a couple of test shots and hopefully they will get better.

Well here she is in her full glory and someone is going to be very happy when they receive her, okay the illustration, for Xmas. I have to admit it has a pleasure painting her and feel a little sad for completing her. Now its back to more VBCW and the Somerset Freedom Fighters.

Well the young lady is slowly getting there and the realisation that I have to go back to VBCW, not thats a bad thing. But I still have a fair bit to do, so here is the latest stage.

Oh Yes the Cyber Chick is getting there and coming to completion. I hoped to have her finished today but forgot I had a meeting this evening, Well should be tomorrow now. I have not finished the purple of the leggings yet but it gives an idea. I am really liking her.

The Cyber Gal Gets Better

Yes the Cyberpunk girl is coming along well and I have to say I am really enjoying the change and break from bland 1930s clothing. I am not totally sure if it is one of my best pieces but I really like her and cant wait to have her finished shortly. So here she is.

Changing direction

Yes for this next illustration I am changing the direction I normal go is and venture out into something a little different. As Xmas is around the corner I have decided to paint a picture for a friend of my and as he is into Sci-Fi, Anime, Future Stuff I have decided to do this for him. I really like the pose and would love a manufacturer to make a mini of her.
