Well I say finished actually half finished as here are the first five that have been finished, I have go for the traditional scout uniform and given them a red scarf so that I can use them for my Socialist forces too maybe as a Youth Socialist/Communist Party section. They are Perry's plastic 8th Army chaps with Gripping Beasts Lemon Squeezers heads with a bit of green stuff for the scarves. Let me know what you think.

Scouts Still a Work in Progress
I have started to assemble my Scouts using the Perry's 8th Army figures with head swaps using Gripping Beast's Lemon Squeezer hats. I have green stuffed the neck scarf and thought I would get some feedback from you nice chaps.

Scouts, an idea and WIP
I think thinking how to make, have Scouts in my force and having received a set of Perry's 8th Army, thanks to the chap for giving them to me and I am sorry I forgot you name, I looked at them with the idea of a football/rugby team and then a bit of inspiration dawn on me, a very rare thing that it for me and wonder if these could be turned into scouts. My reasoning with the fact that they looked a little smaller that my Musketeer, Gripping Beast figures, so a had a butchers around looking for heads with scout hats on and it happened that Gripping Beast do heads in Lemon Squeezers hats in they Great War range and I thought head swaps. So I duly ordered some and here is the result of the first one. I was wondering if the head was a little too big, but I think it is not noticeable and actually I think that with the head swap they fit in rather nicely with the rest of my troops. The half painted figure is a Tsuba Miniature that is the same size of Musketeer and Mutton Chops, is for scale and size comparison. Who do you think is it a goer?

More of the Dukes Alpine Club
I have finished and based some the Bavarians that i have been working on for Partizan and have finished the command group, the specialists and the support sections. I am rather pleased with the results so far and I think that i have got the Alpine look in terms of colours right. They are very nice figures from Tsuba Miniatures and a dream to paint. I still have eight riflemen to finish and hope to have them ready for Partizan. The flag is the Bavarian state flag and its from Flags of War and it is for the range.
I have also finished off this rather lovely figure from Gripping Beast. He was actually a Xmas present from the loving Mrs PK and he will be pressed into service in one of my militias. I think he was an Aussie and he was a special limited edition which is sadly no longer available but I like the sculpt and I have painted his up as a civvie and i love the fag hanging out of his mouth.
