I can’t wait for Dr. Seuss week in March. I always love the creativity that his stories bring out in the classroom and my kiddos are simply smitten by his stories and use of nonsense words! They. Love. Him! I will definitely be posting lots of activities for Seuss Week in the next couple of weeks! Until then…here is another set of math centers. Ever since my realization {sorry…I must be a sheltered child} that not everyone is blessed with a colored printer at their school, I am really trying to make things more printer friendly. Since my eyes LOVE color, I am trying to include options for both color and black and white printing in my units. “Suess”sational math centers includes all resources in full color and black and white! If you must are forced to choose to print in black and white, your kiddos can always add a special touch and color their cards, which will be super cute as well! All recording sheets are only in black and white. I hope this will help save some of my teacher buddies some serious cash! I know that it must be terribly expensive to print at Staples or another outside source!
Here is a little preview of the centers. Click on the pictures below to check them out at TPT.
These are perfect for small group math instruction, morning work, early finishers, or strictly as math centers. Honestly, I have been pulling these activities in during our morning work time to prep for our upcoming MAP testing! {Already? Really???} These centers are also perfect for brushing up on essential math skills or to re-teach some of our struggling littles or bigs. :) They can easily be incorporated throughout the year…not just during the month of March! So, head on over to TPT and pick up a copy for just $6!
If you haven’t read my post about how this little gem works, you can check it out HERE!
And here is a little picture of how I set these centers up in my classroom!
Are you celebrating Dr. Seuss in the month of March? If so, I would love to hear your ideas! :)
