Twitterville Talk #52

Twitter was humming this week.  The best was the BEA in New York City.  I have a huge list of new book recommendations. 

Many years ago I immediately went out and bought my own set of The Dark Is Rising series as soon as I could afford it; the writing, the stories were that good.  I have been a fan of Susan Cooper from the very beginning.  It was with pleasure I saw, Staying Power:  Edwards Award winner Susan Cooper has been working her magic for more than 40 years

June 5, 2012 was an eventful day; SLJ 2012 Day of Dialog:  Walter Dean Myers's Keynote Address.
